Curator of the exhibition Cara Martinez said she is thrilled to see so many artists donate their time and resources to be a part of the exhibition.
“Through having this exhibition we are highlighting the plight of the community and we are also showing the history of the area and the valuable role it played for Sydney,” she said.
“Now we have a big group of individual artists and groups involved including Reg Mombassa who designed the No Surrender Millers Point logo you see all around the area now.”

“Brad Hazzard is the first minister to engage in community consultation with the Millers Point Community Working Party, O’Leary said.
“It is clear that the minister is listening to the points being put forward by the Working Party but it’s also clear that there is no change to the process at this stage.
“This exhibition (is) an opportunity to increase public awareness through art as a medium. Art has traditionally been a medium to highlight causes throughout history and to talk about current issues.”
The exhibition is on at 107 Redfern St, Redfern until Sunday, October 11.
